IF YOU’RE HERE, YOU’RE PROBABLY TIRED
Tired of being told to manage your stress.
Tired of normal results and no explanation. Tired of protocols that assume two spare hours a day and a body that never has a bad week. Tired of paying for supplements nobody has explained to you.
Hi. I'm Zoe King, a Norfolk Island naturopath specialising in women's health, fertility, and postpartum care as well as gut health and PFAS-related health concerns.
It’s my passion to help make wellness practical.
Where to begin.
STEP ONE:
BOOK YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION
We start with a comprehensive, one-on-one consultation where I begin to understand your health presentation and history — body, mind & lifestyle. I may also review any recent bloodwork, or refer back to your GP for further investigation
STEP TWO:
RECEIVE YOUR TREATMENT PLAN
You receive your personalised treatment plan, and your referral if required, which gets you started on lifestyle & dietary changes, as well as any supplements necessary to get you going.
STEP THREE:
MOVE FORWARD, SUPPORTED
Follow-up appointments are spaced around you. As test results come in and I learn more, your plan gets refined and individualised. Changes are tracked — off we go!
Naturopathic support services
WHERE CAN I HELP?
I offer calm, evidence-informed care for women navigating stress, hormones, burnout and the symptoms nobody has taken seriously yet.
-
I conceived without doing any preconception prep — and I felt the difference throughout my pregnancy. The three to six months before conception are one of the most powerful windows to support your future pregnancy, your baby's development, and your own health.
Preconception naturopathic care includes:
Nutritional assessment and targeted supplementation
Hormonal health and cycle regulation
Endometriosis and PCOS support
Gut health and detoxification
Stress and nervous system support
Fertility optimisation for both partners
-
Living on a remote island comes with unique challenges — limited access to specialists, the looming reality of flying out at 36 weeks, and navigating decisions largely on your own. I know that experience intimately.
Naturopathic support during pregnancy can include:
Morning sickness and first trimester support
Nutritional optimisation for each trimester
Managing pregnancy fatigue and sleep
Gestational blood sugar balance
Emotional wellbeing and anxiety support
Birth preparation — physically and mentally
Whether you're local to Norfolk Island or connecting online from anywhere in the world, you don't have to navigate this alone.

When my baby was waking 17 times a night, I was told it was normal. When I was exhausted beyond functioning, struggling, and reaching out for help — I was dismissed. That moment changed how I approach postpartum care entirely.
The fourth trimester is one of the most vulnerable and under-supported periods in a woman's life. You deserve more than a shrug.
Postpartum naturopathic support can include:
Nutritional replenishment after birth
Hormonal rebalancing and mood support
Postnatal depletion recovery
Sleep support — for you and your baby
Breastfeeding nutritional support
Postpartum anxiety and emotional wellbeing.
-
Hormonal imbalance shows up in so many ways: irregular cycles, painful periods, endometriosis, PCOS, mood changes, fatigue, weight shifts, low libido. These aren't things you simply have to put up with — and they're rarely solved by being told to go on the pill and come back in six months.
As a naturopath with lived experience of endometriosis, I bring both clinical knowledge and genuine empathy to hormonal health. Together we identify root causes, support your body's natural rhythms, and build a plan that actually fits your life.
Hormonal support can include:
Endometriosis management
PCOS and cycle irregularities
Perimenopause and menopause
Thyroid health
Adrenal fatigue and stress hormones
Mood, energy, and libido.
-
So much of our overall health begins in the gut — hormonal balance, immunity, mood, energy, skin, and more. Yet gut symptoms are some of the most commonly dismissed in women's healthcare. Bloating, constipation, reflux, food sensitivities — these are not things you just have to live with.
Through functional testing and thorough assessment, I work to identify what's actually going on in your gut and build a targeted plan to address it.
Gut health support can include:
Comprehensive gut assessment and functional testing
IBS, bloating, and digestive discomfort
Food sensitivity identification
Hyperpermeable gut (AKA leaky gut)
Gut-hormone connection
Gut-brain axis and mood support
Microbiome restoration.

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) were detected in Norfolk Island's Mission Creek catchment in 2019, originating from firefighting foam used at the airport. While most residents source drinking water from rainwater tanks, concerns remain around agricultural exposure — including cattle drinking water and food chain bioaccumulation.
PFAS are associated with hormonal disruption, immune dysfunction, thyroid disorders, fertility issues, and developmental concerns. PFOA has been classified as a human carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), with links to kidney, testicular, thyroid, and bladder cancers.
As Norfolk Island's only practising naturopath, I offer naturopathic support for community members concerned about PFAS-related health impacts.
